Desktop and vertical laboratory freeze dryers

Laboratory freeze-drying machines are divided into desktop and vertical types, and the bell-type freeze-drying chamber can be selected from ordinary type, gland type, and multi-manifold type.

The volume of the main unit of the desktop freeze dryer is relatively small, and the freeze-drying area is not large, generally 0.07-0.12 square meters, and generally equipped with a 4-layer material tray. The temperature of the cold trap is generally -50 degrees. Usually, a transparent and visible acrylic bell jar is used, and the trayed material can be observed. Both pre-freezing and drying of materials need to be shifted, and there is no temperature control function. The internal space of the desktop is limited, and this machine cannot do pre-freezing at a low temperature of -80 degrees.

Due to the large internal space of the vertical freeze dryer, it can be pre-frozen at -80. And because of the large internal space, the heat dissipation is good. In this way, the aging of compressors, control circuits, etc. is slow. The freeze-drying area of the vertical freeze-drying machine is generally 0.12-0.18, and the price of the vertical laboratory freeze-drying machine is slightly more expensive than that of the desktop.
