Analyze The Importance Of The Expansion Tank Of The High Temperature Oil Temperature Machine

In the heating system of high temperature oil temperature machine, the design and use of the expansion oil tank is a very important parameter for the successful operation of the whole system. Correct design, installation and maintenance of the expansion oil tank will help prolong the life of the heat transfer oil, and also indirectly protect the heater, Thermal oil pumps and other equipment components, properly designed and installed expansion tanks can solve many problems in the long-term operation of heat transfer systems. Oil temperature machine, oil circulation mold temperature machine, oil heater will be equipped with an expansion tank. What is the function of this tank? What should be paid attention to when designing an expansion tank?

The expansion tank of the expansion tank of the high temperature oil temperature machine can perform various functions such as exhaust, oil replenishment and dehydration. The installation height of the expansion tank is based on the fact that it must be larger than the NPSH of the pump and the saturated vapor pressure of the heat transfer oil in the working state, and higher than the maximum hot spot. The expansion tank should be installed at the highest position of the heat-conducting oil heating system, otherwise the heat-conducting oil of the expansion heat unit cannot be filled up. If the heat-conducting oil is forced to be charged, the expansion tank will rise to the top.

In order to prevent the high temperature oxidation of the heat transfer oil in the expansion tank of the high temperature oil temperature machine, it is stipulated that the temperature of the expansion tank should not be higher than 70℃ in normal use, because the oxidation of the heat transfer oil will intensify when the temperature is higher than 70℃. The oxidation rate of heat transfer oil is directly related to the temperature. The oxidation of the heat transfer oil is not obvious when it contacts with air below 70°C, and the oxidation reaction occurs when the temperature exceeds 70°C. The higher the temperature, the faster the oxidation rate, and the oxidation rate increases geometrically. The heat transfer oil will quickly break down and block the pipeline. The main method to prevent the high temperature of the expansion tank is that the expansion tank cannot be insulated, the diameter of the expansion pipe must not be too thick, and the maximum height of the expansion tank to the heat transfer oil system cannot be too low, that is, the oil and gas separator and the expansion tank. The expansion pipe between them should be relatively suitable, which is conducive to the heat dissipation of the heat-conducting oil. Of course, the expansion pipe cannot be insulated, and even the pipeline with a finned tube with good heat dissipation performance is more effective.

In fact, during the use of the high temperature oil temperature machine, the expansion oil tank does not participate in heating, and its main function is reflected in the supplementation of heat transfer oil and exhaust dehydration. In order to prevent air resistance, the installation of expansion pipes generally does not use elbows less than or equal to 90°, and is usually used for slow-bend connecting pipes greater than 90°. This not only solves the problem of preventing air resistance, but also eliminates the thermal stress of metal equipment pipelines. After the heat transfer oil is used for a period of time, the natural loss is 5-10%/year, and it needs to be supplemented. After the liquid level of the expansion tank is lowered, the oil replenishment pump is used to supplement the normal liquid level from the low level tank to the expansion tank, and the working temperature is less than 2/3 The liquid level is normal, otherwise it should be suspected whether the design, installation and operation are wrong, and there should be no liquid level in the expansion tank under any circumstances during the production process.
