Stirling Refrigerator

Due to the high efficiency and reliability of Stirling refrigerators, it is widely used in many low temperature fields such as aerospace, missile guidance, remote sensing and telemetry. Stirling refrigerator is one of the most widely used, most models and the most mature technology among small refrigerators. Stirling refrigerators can be divided into two types: integral type and split type according to their structure. The advantages of the integral Stirling refrigerator are compact structure, fast start-up, light weight, wide operating temperature range, high efficiency, and easy operation; the existing problems are large vibration, high noise, and relatively short life. The split Stirling refrigerator is developed on the basis of the research of the integral Stirling refrigerator. Because its compressor is connected with the cold head with a thin tube, it overcomes the vibration and the vibration generated by the integrated Stirling refrigerator. The influence of heat on infrared detectors has received extensive attention in the military field. The Stirling cycle consists of two isothermal processes and two isovolumic regenerative processes. In this closed cycle, the constant mass of working fluid is repeatedly compressed and expanded at different temperatures to achieve heat-to-work conversion. The Stirling cycle was originally used in heat engines. Its reverse cycle is called the reverse Stirling cycle or Stirling refrigeration cycle, around 1864, Alexander Kirk successfully built the world's first Stirling refrigerator. The cooling temperature of Stirling refrigerators can range from normal cooling to cryogenic cooling, and the cooling capacity can also be achieved from milliwatts to kilowatts.
