Whether it is for the safety of use or the service life of the freeze dryer, we need to pay attention to some things during the use of the freeze dryer:

1. The surface area of the prepared sample should be expanded as much as possible, and it should not contain acid-base substances and volatile organic solvents;

2. The sample must be completely frozen into ice, if there is any residual liquid, it will cause vaporization jet;

3. Note that the cold trap is about minus 65 degrees, which can be used as a low-temperature refrigerator, but must wear thermal gloves to prevent frostbite;

4. Before starting the vacuum pump, check whether the water outlet valve is tightened, whether the inflation valve is closed, and whether the contact surface between the plexiglass cover and the rubber ring is clean and free of dirt, and is well sealed;

5. During the freezing process of the sample, the temperature gradually decreases, and the sample can be taken out to warm up for a period of time (still in the frozen state) and continue to dry to shorten the drying time of the freeze dryer.

6. The use and maintenance of the freeze dryer must be strictly in accordance with the requirements, especially the inspection and replacement of lubricating grease.
